Rock-Vent Anchor Plate
Use the Anchor Plate to attach Rock-Vent Class A to a masonry fireplace OR metal-cased/factory built fireplace and to certain types of heaters. Plate is fabricated with 24 gauge steel.
For zero clearance fireplaces, seal the Anchor Plate to the flue outlet of a zero clearance fireplace with high-temperature adhesive/sealant if permitted by the fireplace manufacturer. For masonry fireplaces, the Anchor Plate will need to be sealed with silicone. To further secure the Transition Plate in place, use masonry anchors on each of the four corners. Please see the installation manual for full instructions. Make sure that the plate has at least a 1" clearance from the mounting plate to any combustible material. The Anchor Plate needs to be mounted onto a flat level surface.
