DuraVent DVL Double Wall Stove Pipe Damper Section allows you to slow down and control the burn of the wood burning stove. A damper section is a must have for an older wood stove which typically do not have any draft controls built in to the stove. The damper will allow you to extend the burn times for each load of wood. If you have a modern wood stove with either secondary air or a catalytic combustor and you are experiencing excessive draft, the damper section would be a good addition.
The damper sections are best used closer to the stove and will fit any other DVL pipes and parts. Constructed from 430 grade, .016"" stainless steel inner wall and a galvanized painted black .018""outer wall.
Note: When ordering, please be sure to allow an extra 1-3/4" for overlap wherever liner sections will be joined together. Do not cut or trim. For indoor use only, not to be used to pass through combustibles.
